Mag-Map MAGNETOGRAPH ® is a film capable of imaging magnetic
flux leakage above steel surfaces. When activated by rubbing it can
be used as a scanning device to pinpoint magnetic "hot spots".

Once a hot spot is found the film can be left above the area for a
detailed image of the discontinuity to form.

Mag-Map MAGNETOGRAPH ® is capable of crack detection and also
is also ideal in displaying field orientations around permanent magnets.

The film with is exceptionally sensitive to very small magnetic fields.
The device has been developed by Jon Johnson of Johnson and Allen
as an inexpensive addition to the NDT (Magnetic Particle Inspection)
and Educational markets.
