The Maxi-T2 is the second generation of inspection flashlight torch from Johnson & Allen.
Small enough to fit comfortable inside any palm or pocket the Maxi-T2 is ideal for a broad range of industrial applications including NDT and is supplied with a certificate of conformity to ASTM-E3022 as standard.

The Maxi-T2 is supplied as a kit contained in a plastic carry case with foam inserts along with 2 rechargeable Lithium ion batteries, charging dock and UV safety spectacles.
The Maxi-T2 is classified as a UV-A Risk Group 2 under ISO 62471:2008 so if multiple operators will be viewing or working closely in the same environment, it is strongly recommended to purchase an additional set of UV safety spectacles from Johnson & Allen for UV-A exposure limit compliance.

The Maxi-T2 uses a purpose designed optical filters to produce a wide and uniform beam spread with a narrow spectrum with peak wavelength of 365nm.
Cheaper UV devices from other manufacturers may work closer to the visible spectrum or have broader output spectrums, reducing their effectiveness and creating compliance issues.

'Quick Charge' in just 35 minutes
The Maxi-T2 is supplied with 2 rechargeable Li-ion batteries and intelligent charging dock – The charging dock will charge both batteries from 0% to 100% in 2 hours with a ‘quick charge’ mode to charge from 30% to 80% in an incredible 35 minutes…!
Each battery will typically allow 8 hours of continuous use on full charge – So with Maxi-T2 there is no longer any down time.
The charging dock can be powered by the plug adaptor supplied with the dock or any QC/PD supportive USB socket / device.
The charging dock features a simple display screen to inform the operator of charging status:
- Red Light = Fast charging mode activated (30% to 80% charge)
- 3 Green Lights = 100% charge
- 2 Green Lights = Approx. 80%
- 1 Green Light = Approx. 30%
